ROBINSONS Place Jaro once again sprinkled a dash of love, color, and charm as it held its Prom and Debut Fashion Show, a prelude to its six-day fair at The Quad, last Sept. 14.
Wonderfully titled, “Roses are Red, Violets are Blue (A Prom and Debut Affair for a lovely lady like you!),” the annual event featured Manila-based designer Joel Escober along with ten Robinsons Design Lab Alumni: Daryl Amar, Djohn Clement, Paul Conte, Alfie Desamparados, Jor-El Espina, Franco Malay, Aisha Penalosa, Jet Salcedo, Ram Silva, and Dodie Tan.
Needless to say, shoppers were enamored with the grand ball-inspired theme that featured the dramatic cadence of Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT-U) cadets and graceful sway of West Visayas State University – College of Physical Education, Sports, Culture, Arts and Recreation (WVSU-PESCAR) students.
In fact, one remark from the audience was heard, “Wow! Too excited for Prom 2019 as I finally saw good options for my classic and elegant gown! I might have to approach that designer after the show to book for an appointment.”
Another one posted in social media, “Thanks to #Robinsons Place Jaro! The preparation for my debut next year will be breezy! And they gave me a good idea for my theme, too! #readyfordebut2019.”
Indeed, now on its 2nd year, this is a yearly affair that every young lady who is planning for their awesome and lovely prom and/or debut celebrations look forward to./PN
