With the score tied at 24-all, Painters pulled away on consecutive points by Bullock, Chris Tiu and Mark Borboran to build its largest lead at 54-36 on back-to-back triples by Cruz.
Phoenix started strong in the third quarter behind Brown and Wright to snatch the lead 70-67 but Rain or Shine had a quick counter on inside hits by Almazan to regain the edge 85-84 heading into the fourth.
Painters continued its run early in the fourth frame behind Bullock and Almazan toward a 102-89 lead on a Borboran triple. Fuel Masters responded with a 10-0 blast to come to within 99-102.
