ROXAS City – A fire in Kilometer 1, Barangay 10 in this city damaged P200,000 worth of properties early Tuesday morning, July 9.
According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP)-Roxas City, sari-sari store, boardinghouse owned by Tony Pinsay and auto supply shop owned by Niel Ganzon were totally destroyed. All three were made of light materials.
Authorities said the fire originated from the sari-sari store and quickly spread to two other structures.
A “fire out” was declared around 5:31 a.m.
As of this writing, BFP-Roxas City was still determining the cause of the blaze./PN
