
ROXAS City – The Philippine National Police (PNP) opened on Wednesday, July 10, its satellite office in this city that will process and issue police clearance.
Located at Lingkod Bayan Center in Robinsons Place Roxas, the satellite hub is the first on Panay Island.
Brigadier General Jack Wanky, director of the Police Regional Office 6, along with Capiz Police Provincial Office (CPPO) director Colonel Jerome Afuyog, Roxas City Police Office chief Lieutenant Colonel Francisco Paguia, and Roxas City’s Mayor Ronnie Dadivas, led the launching of the National Police Clearance System.
According to the CPPO, the satellite hub provides a platform to meet the needs of Capizeños making the national police clearance readily accessible ensuring that citizens could efficiently and conveniently process the same.
It added that this endeavor aims to streamline access and enhance the PNP and stakeholders’ capability in serving the community.
For his part, Mayor Dadivas expressed gratitude to the PNP for choosing Roxas City to house the first national police clearance office in Panay and Guimaras.
“Isa ini ka maayo nga programa sang kapulisan agud mas mapaayo kag mapadasig ang serbisyo sa mga kasimanwa naton nga nagaproseso sang dokumento nga kinahanglan nila sa PNP,” added the city mayor./PN
