ANTIQUE – A senior citizen sustained injuries after being sideswiped by a motorcycle along the national road in Barangay Magsaysay, Patnongon, Antique, on Saturday afternoon, February 1.
According to reports, the 23-year-old motorcyclist alias “Vince” was traveling towards Barbaza town when alias “Lourdes” suddenly crossed the road.
Unable to avoid her, Vince, a resident of Barangay Beri, Barbaza, accidentally hit the elderly, causing both of them to fall onto the concrete pavement at around 5:20 p.m.
Lourdes was brought o Ramon Maza Sr. Memorial General Hospital for medical treatment, while Vince and his motorcycle were taken into custody by the Patnongon Municipal Police Station for further investigation./PN
