BACOLOD City – Suspected shabu valued at around P45,000 was recovered in an antidrug operation in Barangay Zone 9, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
The suspected drugs were seized from 34-year-old Jose Jereza Jr. and 45-year-old Ancel Magbanua, a police report showed.
Jereza and Magbanua were nabbed after they sold suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P500, the report added.
Aside from 10 sachets of suspected illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia were also confiscated from them.
The suspects were detained in the Talisay City police station custodial facility, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
