BACOLOD City – The motorcycle they were riding crashed against a parked truck in Barangay Rizal, Silay City, Negros Occidental.
Roger Deligiro and Lito Peligro died of head and body injuries, a police report showed.
According to police investigation, Peligro and Deligiro were navigating the road in Barangay Rizal when their motorcycle hit a truck driven by 24-year-old Erwin James Delit of Barangay Sta. Rosa, Murcia, Negros Occidental.
They were rushed to the Teresita Jalandoni Memorial Provincial Hospital in Silay City where the attending physician declared them “dead on arrival.”
Delit meanwhile was arrested and now detained in custodial facility of the Silay City police station./PN
