IU, also known for her portrayals in K-Dramas such as “Hotel Del Luna” and “Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo” arrived in Manila on Wednesday to stage her show, Love Poem.
Fans made sure to give her a welcome fit for a queen by flocking to Ninoy Aquino International Airport. Meanwhile, #TeamBahay made #WelcomeToManilaIU trend hours before she arrived in the country until Thursday morning.
On Twitter, Happee Sy of concert promoter PULP Live World shared a photo of fans who patiently waited outside the airport just to get a glimpse of the singer-songwriter dubbed as “South Korea’s darling.”
IU is known for her songs such as “BBIBBI,” “Blueming,” “Dear Name,” and “This Right Now,” among others.
The Kakao M artist has starred in K-Dramas such as “My Mister and Persona.”
