ILOILO City – A man allegedly stabbed his father in Barangay Imbang Pequeño, San Enrique, Iloilo.
Monday’s stabbing landed Arnel Arellano, 48, at the Don Valerio Palmares District Hospital in Passi City.
Arnel – resident of the village – sustained a stab wound on the stomach, a police report showed.
According to police investigation, Arnel and his 26-year-old son Ronel figured in a heated argument that ended with Ronel attacking his father using a kitchen knife right in their house around 9:30 p.m.
The suspect meanwhile was arrested and detained in the lockup cell of the San Enrique police station./PN
