THE Social Security System (SSS) conferred the Balikat ng Bayan Top Employer Award under the medium accounts category on Sannovex Pharmaceutical Distributor, an importer and supplier of generic drugs based in Mandaluyong City, during the pension fund’s 59th anniversary program on Sep.t 2 at the Ramon Magsaysay Hall of the SSS main office in Diliman, Quezon City.
Sannovex, a provider of inexpensive yet high-quality medicines in the local market, is an SSS-registered employer since 2006 with current contribution remittances averaging P131,000 per month.
From a team of only ten medical representatives in 2010, its workforce has grown to some 90 workers at present. Apart from its faithful compliance with its obligations under the Social Security Law, the company was also cited for its active participation in the SSS Sickness and Maternity Benefit Payment thru the Bank Program./PN
