BACOLOD City – A man landed in hospital after his neighbor hacked him in Hacienda Gonzaga, Barangay Concepcion, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
The 63-year-old Roberto Surigao sustained hack wounds on both arms, police said.
Surigao was currently recuperating at the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital in Bacolod City.
According to investigation, the 52-year-old Efren Baros attacked Surigao with a bolo for no apparent reason around 6 p.m. on Thursday.
Police were still locating Baros, who fled after the hacking. They were also determining the motive in the incident./PN
