A BLEND of emotions, enthusiasm, and the vibrant energy of the Ilonggos lit up Team Uswag’s “Padayon sa Kauswagan” kick-off rally as they showcased their warmth and heartfelt support.
Through rain or shine, more than 40,000 dedicated supporters came together to express their backing for Inday Raisa Treñas for Iloilo City mayor, Vice Mayor Jeffrey Ganzon who is seeking re-election, 12 councilor candidates of Team Uswag, and Uswag Ilonggo Party-list’s Rep. James “Jojo” Ang.
The rally captured the essence of Team Uswag’s mission, with Ilonggos from all walks of life reflecting their hope and aspiration for continued progress. Their enthusiastic support is more than just a show of numbers; it is a profound testament to their shared desire for sustainable growth and genuine service that prioritizes every Ilonggo family.
The supporters at the rally represented only four districts of the city — City Proper, Molo, La Paz, and Lapuz. Supporters from the remaining three districts of Jaro, Mandurriao, and Arevalo are expected to join Team Uswag’s future rallies.
“Ulanan, initan! Uswag sa gihapon!” Uswag supporter Trixie Manzano Mahinal exclaimed.
“Ang kasadya kag solid nga pagsuporta sa Team Uswag ang amon ginkadto. Rain or shine,” echoed Annaliza Parita Alcala.
“Ang amon ya ang suporta sang hugot sa amon Team Uswag,” another supporter, Rowena Cordero Drilon, added.
These resounding endorsements serve as a powerful call to action for Team Uswag, who has vowed to build on the legacy of progress, spearheading initiatives that uplift Iloilo City and its people.
