Iloilo City known as the Philippines’ UNESCO City of Gastronomy, has not only gained immense popularity but has also undergone significant transformation. This evolution has elevated the city’s status within the region over the past few years.

The past decade has seen the exciting transformation of Iloilo Business Park to becoming the vibrant and modern central business district of Iloilo City.

Leading Iloilo City’s continued emergence as a vibrant city for business and lifestyle is Iloilo Business Park, property giant Megaworld’s 72-hectare township development. Hosting the city’s modern central business district, Iloilo Business Park has provided a significant boost to the local economy by attracting domestic and international tourists and investors. In turn, this has created thousands of job opportunities across various sectors, such as tourism and hospitality, business process outsourcing (BPO), retail, small and medium-sized enterprises, all while supporting the growth of its surrounding areas.

The township has become the address of choice for families and even investors in Iloilo City, bannered by iconic residential condo developments like The Palladium (foreground, left), the tallest completed condo tower within the township.

Located in what used to be the old Iloilo Airport in Mandurriao, Iloilo Business Park features themed Megaworld residential condominium developments that Megaworld has already launched inside the township and have now become the preferred address for many Ilonggo families and those wanting to enjoy the exciting township lifestyle.

The township is also home to a world-class retail and dining destination—Festive Walk Iloilo, dubbed as the most beautiful mall in the entire Iloilo. The mall has even received international acclaim just recently after being hailed as the “Mall of the Year” at the 2023 Retail Asia Awards held in Singapore.

Aside from all these, Iloilo Business Park is also home to about 13 top-notch Megaworld office buildings offering around 100,000 square meters of leasable office spaces. Another exciting feature of the township is its two world-class hotels—the 149-room Richmonde Hotel Iloilo and the 326-room Courtyard by Marriott Iloilo. The township’s third hotel, the 405-room Belmont Hotel Iloilo, is also set to open very soon.

Residents and workers enjoy a connected lifestyle in Iloilo Business Park as office developments sit just across the road from residential condominiums, such as Saint Honore and Saint Dominique.

All of these projects rising proudly to continue Iloilo Business Park’s success only serve to lend more character and charm to the iconic modern skyline of the city known as the ‘City of Love.’

Iloilo Business Park made headlines in 2018 when it bested some of the top integrated urban developments in Asia to win the coveted “Best Township Development” award at the Asia Property Awards by PropertyGuru in Bangkok, Thailand.
