ILOILO City – The No. 1 most wanted person for homicide of New Lucena, Iloilo was caught on Wednesday morning, December 4.
The 32-year-old alias “Boy”, a resident of Barangay Quipot, Janiuay town, was apprehended in Barangay Poblacion, New Lucena around 11:50 a.m. by joint operatives of the New Lucena Municipal Police Station, Maasin Municipal Police Station, 603rd Company of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 6, and the Iloilo Police Provincial Office.
Boy was detained at the custodial facility of the New Lucena police station. The court recommended a P120,000 bail bond for his temporary release.
Western Visayas’ top cop, Brigadier General Jack L. Wanky, lauded the police officers involved.
“This arrest highlights your dedication to public service. Let us continue our relentless efforts to track and apprehend other fugitives in the region,” he said./PN
