Trending Capital: Don’t Tap the White Tile

By Raymart Escopel

JOINING the array of simple yet highly successful games is a tile-themed entertainer which at first glance may look boring as black and white. However, prepare to have your mind blown once you try playing it.

Called “Don’t Tap the White Tile,” this game will test your concentration in all of its modes. It is the Android version of “Piano Tiles,” which first became available in iOS.

Its name perfectly describes how it is played. Here, what the player needs to do is tap all of the black tiles while avoiding the white ones.

Launched by Umoni Studio on March 28, 2014, the said single-player application became an instant hit among Android users as it became one of the most downloaded game applications in Google Play.

The game is composed of five modes. These include the Classic mode, the Arcade modes, the Zen mode, the Rush mode and the Relay mode.

Each mode has certain instructions that the player is required to perform in order to win the game. Like other famous games such as Flappy Bird, Temple Run and 20148 Puzzle, “Don’t Tap the White Tile” also requires concentration, strategy and patience for the player to win.

However, the difference of the game is that whenever the player taps the black tile, it forms a charming piano sound effect as if you are a real pianist playing your instrument. When the player hits the white tile, then that means that the game is over and you have to go back from the top.

“Don’t Tap the White Tile” is indeed an entertaining game. It is an effective way to kill time and keep yourself away from boredom. Try playing it and you’ll see how simple instructions make your gaming life miserable./PN
