ILOILO City – A 33-year-old woman and her daughter died in a vehicular accident in Barangay Bolo, Maasin, Iloilo.
They were Dycel Malquerido and her eight-year-old daughter Daniel Jerica.
According to the police, the victims were onboard a concrete mixer truck driven by Dycel’s husband Joel around 3 p.m. on March 7 when the man lost control of the vehicle.
Dycel and her daughter jumped out of the truck when the vehicle was about to plunge off a cliff. However, the vehicle pinned them to death.
The father, meanwhile, incurred injuries./PN
