Tubungan’s Top 2 most wanted captured

ILOILO – The No. 2 most wanted person in the municipality of Tubungan in this province was apprehended by local police in a successful manhunt operation on June 25.

Authorities identified the suspect as alias “Nonoy,” a 41-year-old resident of the town’s Barangay La-ag.

The arrest was carried out through a warrant of arrest at 2:24 p.m. in Barangay Zone 1 by the Tracker Team of the Tubungan Municipal Police Station (MPS), led by officer-in-charge Captain Alberto V. Manguilimotan Jr.

The warrant for charges for Acts of Lasciviousness under Article 336 of the Revised Penal Code in relation to Section 5(b) of Republic Act No. 7610, also known as the “Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act”, was issued on June 24, 2025 by the Regional Trial Court, Sixth Judicial Region in Guimbal, Iloilo.

As of press time, the suspect remained in the custody of Tubungan MPS pending formal turnover to the proper judicial authorities.

A bail of P180,000 was recommended for his temporary release./PN
