BACOLOD City – Four persons were apprehended for illegal gambling in Barangay Vilamonte.
Police identified them as JR Yap, 43, of Calatrava, Negros Occidental; Renato Canyamo, 51, of San Carlos City, Negros Occidental; Roger Gitomal, 41, of Barangay Vista Alegre, this city; and Manilyn Solweta, 30, of Calatrava.
They were caught playing tumbo on Nov. 15 at around 1:25 p.m.
Confiscated from their possession were three coins and P176 bet money.
The suspects were taken to Police Station 4, facing charges for violating Presidential Decree 1602 that outlaws illegal gambling./PN
