ILOILO – Two fugitives in the region were recently apprehended by police.
The No. 8 provincial-level most wanted of Negros Occidental was served with arrest warrants for four counts of rape in Barangay Zone 12-A, Talisay City.
Alias “Nicko” was also the No. 8 most wanted person in the city.
The arrest warrants were issued on Dec. 21, 2023 by Hon. Fernand A. Castro, Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 41 in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental with no bail recommended.
Meanwhile, in Capiz province, the most wanted person for homicide in Dumarao was cornered in the town’s Barangay Jambad.
Alias “Kalboy” was served with an arrest warrant issued by Hon. Judge Kristine B. Tiangco-Vinculado, Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 16 in Roxas City, dated Dec. 5, 2023, with a recommended bail bond set at P120,000.
Both arrested persons were in the custody of concerned police stations for proper disposition.
