
ILOILO City – In a resounding show of support, Uswag Ilonggo Party-List emerged as one of the strongest voices in the 2025 midterm elections, clinching the seventh spot nationwide among all party-lists with 777,754 votes, accounting for 1.85% of the 41,658,790 total party-list votes cast.
This electoral victory grants Cong. Jojo Ang a fresh mandate, securing his second term as the party’s representative in the House. Known for championing inclusive development, regional empowerment, and grassroots support for Western Visayas, Cong. Ang continues to carry the party’s core mission of promoting progress — or uswag — for the Ilonggo people and beyond.

Uswag Ilonggo’s stronghold remains in the Western Visayas region, where the bulk of its support was recorded. Leading the charge was Iloilo Province with 364,566 votes, followed by Iloilo City (105,578), Aklan (88,225), Capiz (53,317), Antique (45,862), and Guimaras (44,560).
Cong. Ang expressed his heartfelt gratitude to voters, vowing to further amplify the voice of the Ilonggo people in national policy-making.
“This victory is not just ours — it is for every Ilonggo who believes in our shared future. Padayon kita sa pag-uswag,” he said.
The party’s rise to the top ranks of the national tally underscores a growing recognition of its grassroots-driven agenda, fueled by tangible development programs and inclusive service delivery.
