AS THE characters prepare for the second installment of the blockbuster movie “Hello, Love, Goodbye,” led by Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards, for “Hello, Love, Again,” netizens are abuzz if they can expect the same cast members from the previous film.
This was after some of the cast members, including Kakai Bautista, Lovely Abella and Maymay Entrata remained out of sight while Joross Gamboa, Jeffrey Tam, and the lead stars Bernardo and Richards began filming for the much-awaited movie.
In a recent interview with Gamboa, the actor was asked if he would know if the movie fans would still see the same cast in this upcoming film.
“Actually hindi ko masasagot,” he quickly said.
“Hindi ko alam kung lahat kasama ah, pero direct continuity ito nung part 1,” he added.
Without sharing any details, Gamboa said that the movie will still feel the same from what was seen in the 2019 blockbuster.
“So kagaya nga ng sabi ko parang the day after lang ‘to e, parang kapag pinanuod mo ‘yung part one, pagka-panood mo nung part two, konektado as in one day lang ‘yung difference,” he explained.
The actor also added that they strictly followed the continuity of their characters from “Hello, Love, Goodbye.”
“Ayun nga kaya nga hinabol, kaya nga nagpa-balbas pa ako don, tapos ginawan na lang ng paraan sa mga buhok namin and everything,” he said.
Aside from the continuity needed for their characters, Gamboa also revealed that they did not have the chance to meet all of the cast members as the project was pushed just this May.
“Hindi kami nagkaroon ng script-reading pero ayun, pinag-aaralan namin ‘yung script kasi knowing direk Cathy (Garcia-Sampana) ano siya e, nakikipag-collaborate talaga siya sa mga actors niya,” said Gamboa.
The film’s first installment included Kakai, Lovely and Maymay playing Joy’s friends, Sally, Gina, and Mary Dale. Gamboa and Jeffrey played Ethan’s friends, Jhim and Carlo.
“Hello, Love, Again” will hit cinemas on November 13 under the direction of Cathy Garcia-Sampana. (ABS-CBN News)
