BACOLOD City – Table tennis players from across Negros Occidental province showed their wares at the Lopue’s Table Tennis Association (LOPTTA) Governor’s Cup Table Tennis Championship held at the LOPTTA venue in Lopue’s San Sebastian here.
In the 10 and under girls, Ameera Bacomo emerged as champion with Sarah Daguia finishing first runner-up and Nicole Bomban and Sofia Corteza as second runner-up.
In the 10 and under boys, Daryl Gorecho took home the championship after defeating Dylan Ventura. Thirdy Berina and Alden Castellano ended up second runners-up.
In the 13 girls category, Dianah Yapiso was hailed as champion for beating Ricci Sausa. Aliyah Yanson and Nekka Daguia were the second runners-up.
In the 13 boys, SB Ginete was the category champion with Dirk Atilano settling for runner up honors.
Joaquin Bragancia and Daryl Gorecho were second runners-up.
In the 18 girls, Kheith Rhynne Cruz was hailed as champion with Micah Tanate ending up as first runner-up and Fea Arguelles and Trexie Alarcon as second runners-up.
In the 18 boys, George Saligumba ruled the category with SB Ginete settling for runner up and Sean Appe and Kian Sol as second runners-up.
In the women’s open, Kheith Rhynne Cruz captured the championship while Fea Arguelles ending up as first-runner up. Micah Tanate and Bea Canalin as second runners-up.
In the men’s ppen, John Michael Castro was the champion with Ken Andre Memoria finishing first runner-up with Pastor Richard Ginete and Jay Canalin as second runners-up.
In the women’s executive A, Ruby Ann Longno copped the championship, Kimberly Trasporto as first runner-up with Maricar Servinas and Judith Koch as second runners-up.
In the women’s executive B, Dr. Analou Claridad nailed the championship with Love Joy Garrido as first runner-up and Jiji Berina and Dezza Samulde as second runners-up.
In the men’s executive, Pastor Richard Ginete bagged the championship, with Ervin Bomban as first runner-up and Garry Trasporto and Robert Arteche as second runners-up.
In the veterans 60 up, Robert Arteche was the champion with Steven Rong as first-runner up and Peter Lim and Felipe Epitacio as second runners-ups./PN
