MALAY, Aklan – A woman was nabbed in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Manoc-Manoc, Boracay Island.
The 21-year-old Keziah Anne Mikaela Mendoza of Zarraga, Iloilo was caught after she sold four sachets of suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P2,200 around 4:30 a.m. on Friday, police said.
When frisked, Mendoza yielded five more sachets of suspected illegal drugs and a government identification card, the police added.
The suspect was detained in the custodial facility of the Malay municipal police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.(With a report from Akean Forum/PN)
