BACOLOD City – Police arrested a woman in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay 6, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
Marithel Cogonon, 48, was a resident of Barangay 3, San Carlos City.
Cogonon allegedly sold a sachet of shabu to a poseur-buyer for P500 around 4:40 on Oct. 28.
When frisked, the suspect yielded five more sachets of the prohibited substance valued at around P20, 400, police said.
Detained in the lockup cell of San Carlos City police station, the suspect faces a charge for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
