BACOLOD City – Two women were caught by the personnel of Negros Occidental’s Provincial Incident Management Team (PIMT) at the Bredco Port here with fake reverse transcription – polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test results.
PIMT head Dr. Zeaphard Caelian said the two women arrived on Jan. 20 from a ferry vessel originating from Manila.
Upon scanning of their RT-PCR test results for scanning, PIMT personnel discovered these to be tampered.
The two women travelers were sent to a provincial capitol-operated isolation facility and were subjected to an RT-PCR test at their own expense.
The women could face criminal charges of falsification of public documents as well as violating Republic Act 11332 or The Mandatory Reporting of Notifiable Diseases and Health Events of Public Concern Act./PN
