ILOILO City – Operatives of the Iloilo City Police Station 8 (ICPS8) arrested the No. 1 most wanted person in Western Visayas in Barangay Cubay, Jaro district.
The suspect, identified as alias “Aron,” 54, and a resident of this city, faces murder charges.
He was apprehended at around 11:54 a.m. on Wednesday, August 20, by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court in Iloilo City dated December 28, 2020.
The suspect is now under the custody of ICPS8 for proper disposition.
The court recommended no bail bond for his temporary liberty
Police Brigadier General Josefino D. Ligan, director of the Police Regional Office 6, lauded the ICPS8 cops for the successful arrest of the suspect.
“PRO-6 will never stop chasing wanted criminals until justice is served for their victims. We also appeal to the public to immediately report any suspicious activities in your communities,” he added./PN
