BACOLOD City – Four illegal drug suspects were arrested while one escaped in separate buy-bust operations in Cadiz and Bago cities and Moises Padilla town in Negros Occidental on Sunday.
Motorcycle-riding Ivan Klein Hulleza, 29, of Barangay Luna and Benjie Diaz Barcenilla, 42, of Barangay Zone 4 in Cadiz City were caught on Gustilo Boulevard, Barangay Zone 2 around 4:15 p.m., said Superintendent Edel Jose Manzano, Cadiz police chief.
Four plastic packs of suspected shabu, two cell phones, a Kawasaki Barako motorcycle, and drug paraphernalia were seized from them. They were detained in the Cadiz City police station lockup cell.
Rasheel Doronila, 38, was arrested in Sitio Balo, Barangay Magallon, Moises Padilla around 12:50 p.m., said Senior Inspector Allan Reloj, municipal police chief.
Three plastic packs of suspected shabu, a cell phone and drug paraphernalia were confiscated from the suspect. Doronila was detained.
Minutes before that, around 12:15 p.m., police in Bago City caught Mariano Coloso in Purok Limbo, Barangay Poblacion.
But police missed Shiela Jastiva, who sneaked out of the house before the officers arrived.
Seized from Coloso were 10 plastic packs of suspected shabu, five cell phones and drug paraphernalia. The suspect was detained, too./PN
