BACOLOD City – Two payment collectors were robbed in separate incidents in Cadiz City and Candoni town in Negros Occidental.

Joseph Siacor Jr., 26, was driving his motorcycle on Omapog Bridge in Barangay Luna, Cadiz City around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday when two unidentified motorcycle-riding suspects trained a gun at him and told him to stop.

The suspects took Siacor’s sling bag containing P1,000 cash and sped away toward Barangay Caduhaan, said Chief Inspector Rocky Desear, Cadiz City police head.

Siacor, a resident of Barangay Poblacion, Toboso town, collects for a motorcycle company.

On the same day the 25-year-old Allan Pasco was also robbed in Barangay Haba, Candoni town, said Senior Inspector Jaynick Bermudez, municipal police head.

Pasco, a resident of Hinoba-an, is a collector for RBR Finance Service.

He was at a store owned by Alma De Los Santos when two unidentified jacket- and bonnet-wearing men approached him and took his P11,000 collection.

The suspects also took his motorcycle, but the vehicle was later found in a secluded area in Candoni./PN
