BACOLOD City – A 38-year-old man was found dead in an irrigation canal in Purok Saang, Barangay Nauhang, Sipalay City, Negros Occidental.
Joemar Lubrico of Sitio Bagongon in the said village was believed to have drowned, police said.
His body was discovered and fished out of the canal around 7 a.m. on Sept. 28, the police added.
Lubrico was allegedly under the influence of liquor when he left their house around 10 p.m. on Sept. 27.
Officers of the Sipalay City police station have yet to rule out foul play in the incident./PN
