 BACOLOD City – A tanod (watchman) of Barangay San Jose, Sipalay City, Negros Occidental was arrested for possessing two unlicensed firearms.

Community Police Assistance Center officer Ricky Lademora caught the 44-year-old Rowelito Abadinas Villarmia around 12:50 a.m. yesterday, according to Sipalay City police head Romeo Vargas.

Police recovered from Lademora an improvised 12-gauge shotgun with a live bullet and a loaded .357 firearm.

The suspect was charged with violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
