BACOLOD City – A motorcycle and a passenger tricycle collided in Victorias City, Negros Occidental. The motorcycle driver died.

Ramil Bayot, 21, of Barangay 14, Victorias City, had head and body injuries. He was declared dead at the Ikaayong Lawas Medical Foundation, said Superintendent Herman Garbosa, city police chief.

His back riders — Peter Cabanquil, 21, of Barangay 2 and Peter Patino, 19, of Barangay 14, all in Victorias — were injured. They were taken to the Teresita Jalandoni Memorial Provincial Hospital in Silay City.

Police said the crash occurred near a waiting shed at the Bureau of Internal Revenue office around 11 p.m. on March 21.

 

Tricycle driver Gerardo Villarino, 48, of Barangay 21 and his four passengers, mostly minors, were injured. They were also taken to the Teresita Jalandoni Memorial District Hospital./PN
