CAPIZ – An 18-year-old lad lost his life while his companion sustained injuries from an accidental electrocution in Sitio Tambo, Barangay Binaobawan in Pilar, Capiz.
The fatality was identified as Joey Santos, while John Christian Serrano, 26, was sent to a local health unit for treatment of burns. Both were residents of the town’s Barangay Natividad.
According to Major Alfred De Leon, chief of the Pilar municipal police, the incident transpired while they were repairing a Wi-Fi antenna.
The victims were only part-time workers installing “Piso” Wi-Fi systems, and their employer has promised to assist with their expenses, De Leon further said./PN
