BACOLOD City – Police arrested 13 persons including a minor in a drug sting in Barangay 6, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
Forty-two sachets of suspected shabu weighing about seven grams were seized from Ruel Santillan, 52, Rodolfo Cabatas, 59, Jason Obique, 30, Stephen Steve Rondovio, 36, Andrew Jason Cueva, 35, Ricardo Canedo, 37, Maximillian Siamsun, 35, Junvic Arsulana, 32, Cipriano Valiente, Peter Rovir Zapanta, 31, Lani Onlagada, 37, Julyriza Corbita, 27, and a 17-year-old minor, a police report showed.
The suspects were nabbed after they sold suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P1,000 around 10:18 a.m. on Sept. 3, the report added.
Aside from the suspected illegal drugs, cash worth P2,430 was also confiscated.
They were detained in the lockup cell of the San Carlos City police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
