ILOILO City – Eighteen couples, including 21 police officers, wed in a pre-Valentine’s Day mass wedding held at the Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Chapel of the Police Regional Office (PRO) 6 in Camp Gen. Martin Teofilo B. Delgado here on Sunday, Feb. 11.

The ceremony was officiated by Lieutenant Colonel Mark Virgil Ibardolaza, PRO-6 chaplain.

PRO-6 Deputy Regional Director for Administration Brigadier General Archival Macala and personnel of the Command Group stood as principal sponsors.

“We have been doing this every year para sa mga pulis naton nga wala nakasal sa church. Free lang ini, included na sang venue kag handa,” said Major Mary Grace Borio, PRO-6 spokesperson.

Macala, meanwhile, told the newly married couples to love and take care of each other and often talk to resolve any differences that may arise.

Kailangan mananatili ang pagmamahalan ninyo. Kailangan mag-usap kayo palagi para kung may problema kayo malutas niyo agad,” he added./PN
