BACOLOD City – Charged with attempted homicide and violation of the election gun ban, a man was apprehended in Barangay Guinhalaran, Silay City, Negros Occidental.
The 49-year-old resident Edward Jopson was caught on the strength of two arrest warrants on Oct. 2, a police report showed.
Police officers served the warrants issued by Judge Dyna Doll Trocio of the Regional Trial Court Branch 40.
The suspect was detained in the lockup facility of the Silay City police station.
For violating the election gun ban, the court recommended a P12,000 bail bond while a P120,000 bail bond was granted for the attempted homicide charge Jopson faces./PN
