BACOLOD City – A 17-year-old boy and a 46-year-old man were apprehended in a drug buy-bust operation of the Talisay City police around 4:56 p.m. on Dec. 14 in Barangay Zone 5, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
Police withheld the name of the minor but identified the other suspect as Jevenson Abibuag. Both were residents of the locality.
A total of eight plastic sachets containing suspected shabu valued at P13,600 were recovered.
Police said the minor was turned over to the Children and Women Protection Desk of the local police.
Abibuag, meanwhile, was detained at the Talisay City police station. He faces charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
