BORACAY – Businesses and groups that promote sustainable solutions to preserve the environment will gather for a two-day eco fair in this famed island resort on Dec. 14 and 15.

“The eco-fair will provide an ideal information and communication platform to showcase products and services to Boracay residents and the business sector,” said the environment committee of the local business group Boracay Foundation, Inc. (BFI), the event organizer.

The activity – which will be held at the Tindahan it Boracay in Barangay Manocmanoc – will feature 19 exhibitors; among them members of the Boracay Ati Tribal Organization and the women’s group Pinay Boracay.

The event aims to present environmental technology, products, services, and solutions to provide the community and tourism businesses with the latest innovations and techniques to make their businesses eco-friendlier.

It will also feature sustainability-oriented local food, demonstration, kids’ activities, and recycling education, among others. (With a report from PNA/PN)
