ILOILO City – Apparently, the illegal drug trade is difficult to get away from.
Two suspected drug personalities in Estancia, Iloilo who turned themselves in to the authorities as part of Oplan Double Barrel – the government’s intensified antidrug campaign – were arrested for alleged drug pushing.

King Michael Aquilos, 21, of Barangay Poblacion and John Paul Buenvenida, 32, of Barangay Bolaquina were detained at the Estancia police station.

Aquilos sold a sachet of shabu to a police poseur buyer for P300 around 8:30 p.m. on Friday in Barangay Poblacion. Buenvenida was with him, a police report showed.
Police seized three more sachets of shabu from Aquilos./PN
