BACOLOD City – Two persons were arrested in a drug sting in Barangay Hilamonan, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
Ten sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P10,000 were seized from 55-year-old Larry Sumagaysay and 26-year-old Julius Carpena, a police report showed.
Sumagaysay and Carpena were nabbed after they sold suspected illegal drugs to an undercover officer around 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 8, the report added.
Cash amounting to P3,413 and drug paraphernalia were recovered from their possession, police said.
The suspects were detained in the custodial facility of the Kabankalan City police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
