ILOILO – Two men charged with child abuse in two separate cases yielded to the police just minutes apart on Feb. 16.
Andy Alcarde, 27, of Barangay Barrio, Calinog town surrendered to the police at around 10 a.m.
A P200,000 bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty.
At around 10:15 a.m. in Barangay Ponong Grande, Dueñas, a 35-year-old man was served with an arrest warrant by the police.
Edwin Labuson of Barangay Calawinan, Dueñas was accused of three counts of child abuse, a police report showed.
The suspect was detained at the Dueñas police station. A P200,000 bail bond for each count was recommended for his temporary release.
It was unclear as of this writing if Labuson was able to post bail./PN
