ILOILO City – Two individuals were arrested over illegal cockfighting in Barangay Balabag, Malay, Aklan.
Arnel Arcibal and Roden Diminguez were nabbed around 11 a.m. on Sunday after officers from the Malay municipal police station caught them engaging in an illegal cockfight.
The officers recovered seven head of game fowls and bet money which amounted to P1,570.
Arcibal and Diminguez were detained in the lockup facility of the municipal police station./PN
