ANTIQUE – Two drug suspects were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Purok 2, Barangay 1, San Jose de Buenavista town.
Karen Abellar, 28, was a resident of Barangay Maybato North but was temporarily residing in Barangay 1 while Michael Flores, 37, was from Barangay 2.
They sold one sachet of suspected shabu valued at P1,200.
The buy-bust was carried out on Friday afternoon, Aug. 4, by the San Jose Municipal Police Station, Antique Police Provincial Office – Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency – Antique Provincial Office.
The suspects face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
