ILOILO City – Police caught two persons engaging in illegal gambling in Barangay Nonoy, City Proper.
They were Rodolfo Bajade, 24, of South Fundidor, Molo district and Julius Borro, 25, of Barangay Calaparan, Arevalo district, a police report showed. Their two alleged cohorts meanwhile were able to elude arrest.
Officers from Police Station 1 nabbed them after catching them in the act of playing tong-its at around 4:30 p.m. on March 26.
The arrested individuals were detained at the police station’s lockup cell./PN
