ILOILO City – Two rifle grenades were found in a forested area of Barangay Man-it, Passi City.
The 64-year-old resident Ruperto Provindido said his grandson found the ammunition around 7 p.m. on Jan. 12. Provindido then reported the discovery to the police.
It was not immediately clear who owned the weapon.
Officers of the Passi City police station took the items for safekeeping./PN
