20 Capiz barangays declared ‘drug-free’

ROXAS City – Twenty villages in the municipality of Dao, Capiz were declared “drug-free”, according to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region 6.

The declaration was made by the Regional Oversight Committee (ROC) of the Barangay Drug Clearing Program on April 17.

PDEA provincial officer Jeannette Reyes said the 20 villages were finally declared as “drug-cleared” or officially “unaffected” after complying all the requirements and parameters set by the Dangerous Drugs Board.
