ROXAS City – The province of Capiz has three active cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) left as of March 16.
These cases are in this city (two) Panay town (one), data from the Capiz Provincial Health Office (PHO) showed.
In Roxas City, one case is symptomatic and admitted in a hospital while the other is asymptomatic and currently isolated at the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility of the province.
In Panay town, the active case is symptomatic and also admitted in a hospital.
PHO data also showed that 94.88 percent or 1, 242 of the total cases in the province already recovered.
Deaths due to COVID-19 in the province, on the other hand, were 64 or 4.88 percent of the total cumulative confirmed cases (1,309)./PN
