ILOILO City – In a drug sting operation at a lodging house in Barangay Ed Ganzon here yesterday, three suspects were arrested.
They were John Micahel Baluyot, 26, of Zone 1, Santa Barbara, Iloilo; Ghelie Ann Carlos, 26, of Barangay Nagba, Tigbauan, Iloilo; and Jose Kim Lustro of Barangay Delgado, Calinog, Iloilo.
According to the police, the suspects initially sold 10 sachets of suspected shabu to a poseur buyer for P9,600 around 2:50 p.m.
When frisked, four more sachets were recovered from their possession.
Total drugs confiscated amounted to P20,400, police said.
Lustro admitted to the police that he was into drug pushing and tagged Baluyot as his source.
The suspects were taken to Police Station 1, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
