ILOILO City – The Philippine Army’s 3rd Infantry Division (3ID) has a new Division Public Affairs Office (DPAO) head.
Effective November 1, Major Ivy Arcangeles replaced Lieutenant J-Jay Javines who is now a full-time head of the division’s Civil Public Operations (COMO).
Arcangeles, a native of Dumarao, Capiz, was a graduate of Bachelor in Elementary Education at Filamer Christian College in Roxas City. She is a licensed professional teacher.
She finished her Military Officer Course at Officer Candidate School, Training and Doctrine Command in Capas, Tarlac in 2007.
“I look forward to have a good relationship with the media,” said Arcangeles who is now 18 years in service.
Prior to her new assignment, she was the chief of the Office of the Division Adjutant of the 3ID from February 2023.
She was also a former commander of the 33rd Civil-Military Operations (CMO) Company, 3rd CMO Battalion, from July 2020 to September 2022./PN
