BACOLOD City – Four persons were arrested in a drug buy-bust operation at a lodging house in Barangay 1, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.
San Carlos City police head Superintendent D’ Artagnan Katalbas Jr. identified them as Junrie Pilapil (high-value drug target), 29; Felix Marlo Paras (street level drug target), 28; Wilbert Dopio, 26; and Maria Libres Suzith Borato, 18.
The suspects were caught at around 1:10 a.m. on Wednesday at the Leo GM Lodging House, the report showed.
Senior Inspector Mark Angelo Jungco, deputy police chief, led the entrapment operation.
The suspects were allegedly having a pot session when the police barged in.
Recovered from them were seven sachets of suspected shabu weighing about 2 grams valued at around P24,000 and drug paraphernalia.
The suspects were detained in the lockup cell of the San Carlos City police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
