NEW YORK – Four homeless men were battered to death while a fifth was critically injured in an attack in this city.
All four unidentified victims died of blunt trauma on the head. It was believed they were asleep when the attack happened on Friday night, police said.
The suspected weapon, a long metal object, was recovered.
They were assaulted at three different locations in Manhattan.
The suspect was under the custody of the police but report said as of press time, no charges have yet been filed.
Police officers were investigating the incident.(BBC)
